Kidney and Bladder Detox
Our kidneys are essential organs which remove toxins, drugs and other waste from our bloodstream, which would potentially harm the body. They then turn these toxins and waste into urea, which is released with excess water in the form of urine. This urine is stored in the bladder, where it stays until it is ready to be released from the body. Because of the high traffic flow of toxins through the kidney, they can become infected and diseased over time; they can also become lined with fat due to an unhealthy diet. If the kidneys are not doing their job to the maximum capacity possible, it is very dangerous to our bodies, so we must always ensure that they are functioning properly.
This is a very simple task, in which you gently tap the kidney area from the outside with a loose fist. The kidney will be stimulated and urged to enhance its performance.
A ginger compress is something to make to place on your lower back to stimulate the kidneys. Grate ginger root into a pot of warm water, and let it soak for about 15 minutes. Using a thick towel or cloth, drench in the ginger solution and wring out so it is simply wet, not dripping. Place the towel against your back, at the kidney area, for around 5 - 10 minutes Reapply again, so the total compress time is around 30 - 45 minutes.
It is very easy to detox the kidney; one way to do this is to intake a large amount of fluids. Eating an abundance of watermelon is beneficial to your kidneys, because it rinses them out and assists in flushing out toxins and other waste products through your urine.
